Our office is state-of-the-art, but the technology is not always obvious. Our primary focus is quality care and the technology we use is a tool to help us achieve that goal. We have been a “paperless” office since 1999 and we’re able to retrieve all of our patients’ information from any computer in the office!
When you first arrive at the office, you’ll be greeted by one of our Scheduling Coordinators. She will show you how to sign in for your visit, using our fun fingerprint scanner. This lets everyone in the office know you’re here. The sign-in will confirm your name, the time you arrived and the time of your appointment.
In our reception area, please feel free to enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee, tea or spring water, and relax with a magazine. For the children, we have an Xbox and Nintendo GameCube station and Nintendo Gameboys, as well as coloring books and child-friendly magazines.
If you weren’t able to brush before arriving for your appointment, don't worry. We have a tooth-brushing station outfitted with toothbrushes that have the toothpaste built right in.
One of our Treatment Coordinators will start by giving you a tour of the office.
During your first visit, we will take a series of digital photographs and a panoramic digital x-ray. Dr. Moin will conduct a complete orthodontic clinical exam and review the x-ray and photos with you. He will discuss your bite and dental development and review the benefits of any necessary treatment. If treatment is indicated, our Treatment Coordinator will go over the financial options with you. For some children, starting treatment would be more effective after there is further growth and dental development. If this is the case, your child would be reevaluated every six to twelve months at no extra charge until the timing is ideal to begin orthodontic care.
